Open Air Film Festival

The Chiswick House and Gardens 2010 Open Air Film Festival continues our programme of fundraising events. We plan to screen four different films between Sunday June 20th and Wednesday June 23rd; with an exciting selection of additional entertaiments before the films start to get you in the mood.

The programme is as follows:

Sunday June 20th – The Duchess, starring Keira Knightley and Ralph Fiennes. Georgiana returns to her beloved Chiswick. (Certificate 12A)

We are delighted to welcome the D'Souza Quartet from the Royal Academy of Music whose programme will include period works including a selection of pieces by Haydn and Handel. Our Georgian entertainers will also be on hand to delight and entertain you.
 
Monday June 21st – Mars Attacks! Tim Burton’s camp sci-fi romp with an all-star cast and lots of little green men. (Certificate 15)

Pre-screening comedy will be provided courtesy of the animatronic act Alien Babies, Galien our 8' galactic visitor, and BabeArella. Arrive early to enter our out of this world music competition

Tuesday June 22nd – Best in Show. Calling all dog-lovers for an evening of canine capers. Cast includes Glee’s Jane Lynch (Certificate 12) With Dogs Trust parade and Flyball competitions

Wednesday June 23rd – Mamma Mia, starring Meryl Streep, Julie Walters, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth. (Certficate PG) The grand finale of our festival with guest star Ceri Dupree as Nana Mouskouri, together with Greek song and dance from our band.
