Serafina Steer Concert
14 September, 2011
At her very popular 2010 Chiswick House recital, Serafina Steer performed
some of the music relating to Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire and
contemporaries. For this year’s concert Serafina will one again delve
into the archives for more such enthralling pieces.
Serafina was born in London and attended Trinity College of Music where she won the String Faculty Prize. For a number of years she has been Principal Harp at Dartington Internation Summer School.
Serafina divides her time between harp playing and songwriting and already has two CDs to her credit. The London Metro Newspaper recently labelled her 'One to Watch' describing her 'solo work (as drawing) on a beguiling blend of fairy tale folkiness and sparky fantasy'.
Tickets will be on sale shortly via Ticketweb.
