Chiswick House Gardens Restoration Project
The restoration of Chiswick House Gardens has been one of the biggest and most ambitious garden regeneration projects ever undertaken.
Detailed research was conducted by English Heritage to ensure that the key focal points of the garden could be returned to their appearance in the mid-18th century.
Important buildings and views have been restored, a new café and play area created, miles of paths have been renewed and over 1600 new trees have been planted.

Café
The new café has been designed by award-winning architects Caruso St John.
Native trees and shrubs have been introduced, and the bat roosts protected.

The Southern Walled Garden has been restored and the Northern converted.
Lord Burlington's temple is still undergoing repair and restoration.
